The new church at Ardwell erected by Sir Mark J McTaggart Stewart, Bart., M.P. is to be opened to-day by Dr Marshall, Edinburgh, and the minister will be ordained and presented with gown and cassock.

Mr Andrew Carnegie has kindly offered to furnish one-half of the £165 required to purchase an organ for Ardwell Parish Church, when the first half has been collected by the congregation.

Some time ago the members subscribed handsomely for this purpose and it is hoped almost immediately to be in a position to accept Mr Carnegie's offer.
